Take charge
Put together a posse of up to 100 Pikmin in your daily explorations and use a whistle to call them to you. They’re obedient enough to happily follow your commands – and don’t even mind being thrown at something to get the job done!
At your command the Pikmin forces will carry heavy loads for you, break down barriers, build bridges, fight the local wildlife, and more. You can also split your crew into three squads led by Alph, Brittany and Charlie each, and switch between them to search in different directions at once – getting the hang of this will allow for efficient travels!

You’ll need to use the unique skills of each Pikmin type to overcome obstacles and open up the diverse world around you, so pick your Pikmin wisely!.

Squad up!
If you need a break from your plucky adventure, more fun awaits with additional modes. Get competitive with another player in Bingo Battle, or complete unique challenges alone or co-operatively in Mission Mode – which includes all DLC from the Wii U version!
Both modes can be enjoyed in local multiplayer on one Nintendo Switch console, though you can also compare your Mission Mode scores with the rest of the world via online leaderboards*.
You’ll even have two additional Pikmin types at your disposal: the mighty Purple Pikmin, and the fast and sharp-sighted White Pikmin.
