Nintendo offers you the opportunity to bring the characters to life in the form of amiibo figures. These figures are interactive and can communicate with specially designed games that are compatible with amiibo, just by touching them on the Wii U’s GamePad.
Amiibo can interact with games that support amiibo, by reading data in the game and storing data on the figure. In Super Smash Bros Wii U, players can compete with or against their amiibo figures while leveling them up.
They can also transfer them to another Wii U console and showcase how they have trained and customized them. Different games that support amiibo will use them in different ways. Super Smash Bros. for Wii U will be the first game to use amiibo. Games like Mario Party 10, Mario Kart 8, Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker, and Yoshi’s Woolly World are also expected to support amiibo.

To use the amiibo, all you need to do is place your figure on the Switch controller and the encrypted data will be transferred.

which will use the characters in the game and train them to become even better fighters, or Hyrule Warriors, which will unlock new weapons and equipment.
