In the fictional Hope County of Montana, the preacher Joseph Seed proclaims himself as God’s chosen one and creates a cult, Eden’s Gate, under the pretense of saving the local residents from the end of the world.

In reality, this cult uses unscrupulous means, spreading terror with the aim of establishing a militaristic regime and positioning Seed as the ruler of the county. Our hero is called to ignite the flame of revolution to liberate the people and – with the help of Father Jerome – restore order, while simultaneously eliminating Seed and his subordinates.

Explore Hope County, its rivers, plains, and skies, and take part in epic battles with the largest number of vehicles and weapons ever seen in the Far Cry series! Become the hero in a world that will try to destroy you at every step, where the places you explore and the residents you ally with will change the game’s story in unpredictable ways!
